As they mourn the loss of his war companion the former Nagimori Jiiro encounters Kuumi an innocent young woman who has gained her magical abilities. When the two sign an agreement to save this city from the threat of a huge creature assault, Jiiro learns that Kuumi has fled a laboratory and is being pursued by the subordinates of Mezami who is the director of the research center. He reluctantly agrees to help Kuumi escape from her spies, Jiiro starts traveling with his new companion and companion Myaa, a little girl sporting a cat’s headdress. As the unlikely trio explores across the Arsian landscape, high-ranking officials start setting their plans in motion. And the group of adventurers quickly discover that men should be fearsome than monsters.
